WOPTamii Ends the year with New EP “The Cross Roads”

WOPTamii steps into a moment of reflection and growth on his new EP, The Cross Roads, a project that follows his single “Foster’s Home” featuring Elhumni and sets the tone for his upcoming debut album expected in the new year. The Cherry Hill, New Jersey, native uses the EP to explore themes of transition, identity and self-awareness, positioning the release as both a continuation of his recent work and an introduction to what’s ahead.

WOPTamii blends nostalgic storytelling with modern-day soul, drawing influence from artists such as Mac Miller, Capital STEEZ, Tyler, the Creator and Joey Bada$$. His sound fuses hip-hop, R&B and alternative elements, balancing introspective lyricism with smooth, feel-good melodies. That balance is evident throughout The Cross Roads, where personal crossroads take center stage without sacrificing accessibility.

First stepping into the booth in 2018 with his SoundCloud debut “Sacred,” WOPTamii has built a catalog rooted in vulnerability and growth. After returning from a creative hiatus with “1999 (BWD),” he continues that momentum on The Cross Roads, which also serves as a bridge to future releases, including his debut album and the collaborative project The K.I.D.S. Next Door. With a hands-on approach to songwriting, production and visuals, WOPTamii continues to solidify himself as a rising voice in the Tri-State music scene.
