Megan Thee Stallion has been on a high since celebrating her graduation from Texas Southern University. The rapper was awarded the 18th Congressional District Humanitarian Award Sunday afternoon in Houston.

Megan Thee Stallion was given an award for all she does for her Houston community. 

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee presented Megan with the 18th Congressional District Humanitarian Award in Houston this weekend. Megan dedicated the award to her late grandmother who she says always taught her to be kind and giving.

Megan also graduated from Texas Southern University this weekend with a degree in health administration.

Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion and Popeyes collaborated on a spicy chicken sandwich deal with the “Hottie Sauce.”

Hottie Sauce will be spicing up Popeye’s world-renowned chicken sandwich and the brand’s new Nuggets in Canada and in 14 countries around the globe.

Meg is now a Nike Yardrunner – a select group of Black athletes and global “changemakers” who have graduated from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

In her announcement, Megan encourages her fans to strive to say, “I want y’all to remember that you can do whatever you wanna do and be whoever you wanna be, cause look at me!”
