Foolio was arrested earlier today after he attempted to flee from a law enforcement officer who ordered him to stop.  This was after an eventful last few days in which the rapper’s security issued a beatdown on an attacker who punched him at a show.

Foolio was arrested by the Jacksonville Florida Sheriff’s Office in his hometown and held on a bond of $10,000.  The arrest has led many to think that maybe Foolio, whose real name is Charles Jones, could possibly have been attempting to escape from someone chasing him with the intent to do him some harm.  

Over the weekend while performing at a show, the rapper was sucker-punched while on stage. His security quickly apprehended the person responsible for the punch and fiercely beat him up. The incident was captured on video by fans in the crowd. Foolio himself joked about being punched on Instagram and posted the video as well. 

Foolio stated, “Whoever dude was he popped off on me fasho 🤣🤣😂😂  hit  me 1 time it was a wrap after that bro dem cleaned up like a janitor.”

The “Dead Opps” rapper has a history of dangerous run-ins with assailants who have tried to kill him.  In July 2020, Foolio was shot at over 100 times in Houston, Texas. The rapper was involved in a gun battle and says he shot back in self-defense. ” My gun is registered,” Foolio told fans on Instagram. “If I did something illegal the police would put me in jail. A ni**a did miss 100 shoots though. They must have thought I was lackin’ for sure,” he continued.
