R&B singer Jhenè Aiko’s black Range Rover was stolen on March 25, according to TMZ. The incident took place in a valet parking lot at a popular Tasty Noodle House restaurant in Los Angeles.
According to sources, Aiko arrived at the restaurant and handed over the keys to the valet before heading inside. However, the valet informed the singer that her vehicle was missing upon her return. After checking the surveillance footage, it was discovered that an unknown suspect had driven off with the Range Rover.
It’s still unclear whether the car was explicitly targeted or was a random theft act. The LAPD has reportedly launched an investigation and is actively searching for the stolen vehicle.
Aiko has yet to comment on the incident, and it’s unknown whether any personal belongings were in the car at the time of the theft. Fans and well-wishers are hoping for a safe return of her vehicle.
Aiko wasn’t the only singer who went through car theft recently. Rihanna was the target of another trespasser as her driver’s 2012 Audi sedan was stolen outside her Beverly Hills home. This follows after an intruder recently attempted to propose to the songstress.
