To shed light on the profound impact of Magic City, the docuseries features interviews with notable celebrities such as 2 Chainz, Nelly, Shaquille O’Neal, Quavo, Killer Mike, and Big Boi. These artists share their personal experiences and reflections on how Magic City has shaped their careers and contributed to Atlanta’s vibrant hip-hop culture.
Jermaine Dupri, who also serves as an executive producer for the docuseries, expresses his deep connection to Magic City:

Jermaine Dupri not only uncovers the truth behind Magic City, but with the help of Hulu, the So So Def owner will also uncover the culture of Atlanta’s FreakNik of the 1990s.
