The sudden announcement of the SouljaWorld Tour has garnered fans and critics’ attention. Many fans were quick to point out that the tour seems to be limited to North America, leading them to believe that it is more of a “us tour” rather than a worldwide tour.

The speculation surrounding the motive for the tour stems from a recent court case. According to documents from XXL, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge declared that Soulja Boy has a negative net worth. The rapper had requested the dismissal of a $472,000 judgment in a civil case but was denied due to his financial situation, which includes a $1 million tax lien. 

The judge even suggested that Soulja Boy consider downsizing his living arrangements to a more modest home to pay off his debts.

Fans have taken this opportunity to urge the rapper to take action and sell his expensive mansion, where he spends $300,000 a year on rent alone. They believe this move could help him alleviate his financial burdens and regain stability.

 The Atlanta rapper was found guilty by a jury in a 2019 assault and kidnapping case filed by his ex-girlfriend Kayla Myers. She accused Soulja Boy of hitting her with a gun and falsely imprisoning her after being tied with duct tape in his garage. 

He is required to compensate Myers for mental health expenses and mental pain and suffering. 

Similarly, another music industry mogul, singer Trey Songz faces legal trouble. Songz, along with his label Atlantic Records, is involved in a costly lawsuit of $10 million related to a 2013 pool party incident where he allegedly exposed a woman’s breasts.
