In the recent interview with Kali Uchis, JT dropped hints about her upcoming music endeavors. As the City Girls prepare for their next album release, the “No Bars” rapper’s projects seem to be on the horizon, promising a busy but rewarding journey ahead.

The interview began with Uchis asking JT about celebrating her recent milestones during the holidays. The Miami native expressed:

“ I really want to. Even though I’m working hard, sometimes it just don’t be feeling like enough. I think that’s because I have yet to be in a place that I’m individually solidified. The City Girls’ next album is about to drop, and I want to put out that project and then sort everything out individually. When I dropped “No Bars” I had to drop another song and another song, so I couldn’t bask in anything because I was promoting so much at one time. The City Girls album is coming out soon. I’m not going to say the title, but I want to say October.”

Kali Uchis continued the conversation and inquired about the rapper’s future projects, stating:

“That’s exciting. How about your own project?”

JT said:

“ I really want my first EP to have that raw, grungy sound. I wanted to do that for my birthday, but I think it’s too soon because I’m so picky. So probably the top of next year.”

Fans immediately reacted to the news, excited for JT’s solo album. This news seems to take fans by storm, with one user commenting, “I am actually ready for jt solo album,” while another commented: “ Only thing we want from the City Girls is a JT solo album.”

Many have eagerly awaited her work, and JT’s announcement has only intensified their anticipation. However, no word yet from JT’s group mate, Yung Miami, regarding JT’s solo debut.

In a recent incident, JT was reportedly involved in an altercation with GloRilla at the 2023 VMAs. While both rappers have remained relatively silent about the incident, fans have been questioning the details and validity of the claims.

In other EP news, Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B have made waves with their new single, “Bongos,” which has quickly climbed the music charts. To add to the excitement, the two artists have announced they are collaborating on an EP and planning a tour.
