First, Elzhi and Oh No. Now, there’s a collaborative project from Blu and Nottz.

The two have reunited for the first time since their 2018 project Gods In The Spirit, Titans In The Flesh, for Afrika. The pair have described the project as “a celebration of the rich history and culture of their ancestral homeland.” “The story of Afrika is so unfathomably dominant in history, yet so unknown to people of the world today, so it was a must that I tell its story myself,” Blu says.

A 10-song effort, the project was preceded by the focus track “Marcus Garvey.” The likes of Quelle Chris, Mickey Factz, Ill Camille, Shafiq Husayn, Shad, Cashus King, ScienZe, and Tristate are featured throughout.
