As the weather is heating up, apparently, so are the temperaments of some of your favorite rappers. Over the past several weeks, a flurry of hip-hop artists have been making issues known online or via song. Even Lil B and Kevin Durant traded shots. Check out who’s been taking aim at who below.
Pusha T went scorched earth on Travis Scott on the new Clipse track “So Be It,” released on June 16.
“You cried in front of me, you died in front of me/Calabasas took your b***h and your pride in front of me/Heard Utopia had moved right up the street,” Push raps. “And her lip gloss was poppin’, she ain’t need you to eat/The ‘net gon’ call it the way that they see it/But I got the video, I can Cher and A.E. it/They wouldn’t believe it, but I can’t unsee it/Lucky I ain’t TMZ it, so be it, so be it.”
The Virginia MC later elaborated on his issues with La Flame in an interview with GQ.Â
“The true context of that is we were in Paris, literally working, and he was calling to play P his new album. He came to [Pharrell’s] studio [at Louis Vuitton HQ, where Clipse recorded most of Let God Sort Em Out]. He interrupted a session,” Pusha recalled. “He sees me and Malice] there. He’s like, ‘Oh, man, everybody’s here,’ he’s smiling, laughing, jumping around, doing his f**king monkey dance. We weren’t into the music, but he wanted to play it, wanted to film [us and Pharrell listening to it]. And then a week later you hear ‘Meltdown,’ which he didn’t play. He played the song, but not [Drake’s verse].” Push is referencing the Travis Scott song featuring Drake where the latter disses Pharrell.
During an interview with The New York Times’ Popcast podcast, Push further expounded on his disdain for Travis.
“I don’t take it as personally as I should,” the Virginia MC said. “He’s Travis. He’s harmless. Â I’m not into what he his whole make-up. I just took it there…He’s shameless. You’ve seen him do it to everybody.”
Travis has yet to respond.
Pusha T vs. Ye
King Push has also been airing out Ye in recent interviews.
“He’s a genius. And his intuition is even more genius level,” the Virginia lyricist told GQ in early June. “But that’s why me and him don’t get along, because he sees through my fakeness with him. He knows I don’t think he’s a man. He knows it. And that’s why we can’t build with each other no more. That’s why me and him don’t click, because he knows what I really, really think of him. He’s showed me the weakest sides of him, and he knows how I think of weak people.”
Ken Carson and Don Toliver recently had an unfriendly exchange online. The problems appeared to begin when Ken seemed to diss Yeat while performing at the 2025 Summer Smash in June. Don appeared to respond on his Instagram Story with the post: “Ni**as be on the lame sh*t justs get your money and go home. lol.”
Ken seemed to clap back a short time later on his own IG story, writing, “U the worst thing that happened to your BM. P***y Ahh.”
Don returned smoke with the post, “My BM got more money then you ni**as you need to work harder.”
Don Toliver disses Ken Carson.
The Ray Vaughn and Joey Bada$$Â lyrical squabble has been playing out for the last few months, with both artists dropping several diss songs. The volley of tracks has died down. Joey addressed the back and forth during a recent episode of the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast.
“This sh*t is a sport to us. We all want to be the best,” Joey said. “This is just about Joey feeling like he the one.”
The Young Thug and Gunna saga continues, as speculation of their rift over Gunna’s handling of the YSL RICO case seem to get further confirmation. Both rappers have been mostly silent on the matter. However, back in May, Gunna covered his YSL tattoo.
Young Thug reacted to the move by Gunna by responding on X, “I mean.. he said it must end lol,” referencing Gunna’s statements in court during his plea deal in the YSL RICO case back in December of 2022, where Gunna denounced YSL after confirming the group is a violent street gang.
In June, Thugger censored Gunna’s name during a performance of “Ski” at 2025 Summer Smash.
