New Jersey-bred musician Juwan Elcock, aka BLK ODYSSY, made his debut at the DopeHouse with the incredible “Complex of Killing A Man.” For those that missed it, definitely check it out: the video for the song plays in reverse as it unwinds the story of a tragic murder from end to beginning.

“Killing A Man” was actually “part two” of the story, with BLK ODYSSY now releasing the first part “BENNY’S GOT A GUN.” Featuring Benny The Butcher and the legendary George Clinton, the song’s accompanying visual focuses on the titular character who — after being bullied and brutalized by some kids in his neighborhood — decides to take matters into his own hands. “BENNY’S GOT A GUN” is the second offering from his BLK VINTAGE REPRISE, a 6-song expansion of BLK’s 2021 album BLK VINTAGE, slated to drop June 24.
