Cassie confirms she received $20 million from Diddy within 24 hours of filing her rape lawsuit in 2023, during her second day testifying in the music mogul’s sex trafficking trial.

Cassie Confirms Diddy Lawsuit Settlement Amount

Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, was back on the stand to testify against the embattled record producer on Wednesday (May 14). In addition to detailing more of Puff’s alleged sex crimes, the former R&B singer revealed Puff broke her off with $20 million within a day of filing her bombshell lawsuit against the Bad Boy Entertainment founder in November of 2023, according to Inner City Press, which has been covering the case live.

Cassie says she initially wrote a book about her time with Diddy after they finally called it quits and sent it to him. She asked for $30 million for the book. However, Puff did not take it seriously. In November of 2023, she filed an explosive lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of years of sexual, physical and mental abuse. Diddy settled the lawsuit within a day, but denied it was an admission of guilt. However, the amount of the settlement was not disclosed until now.

“I can’t carry this anymore,” Cassie responded when asked why she still decided to testify in the trial. “What’s wrong is wrong.”

Cassie Testifies Against Diddy

For the past two days, Cassie has been spilling her guts about what she experienced while in a volatile relationship with Diddy, including being a part of “hundreds” of freak-off parties, alleged drug-fueld orgies with male and female escorts. Cassie told the jury she was forced to participate in the events through threats of violence, actual violence and blackmail.

During today’s hearing, Cassie testified about Diddy discussing blowing up Kid Cudi’s car after finding out Cassie was dating the rapper on the side in 2011. A short time later, Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway. Cassie initially made the claim in her 2023 lawsuit, which Cudi’s team later confirmed.

Cassie is set to take the stand on Thursday (May 15) for cross-examination.
