Meet DEVN, a Charlotte, NC native who’s making his DopeHouse debut with the release of his new project, St. Luke St. Well, technically this is his second placement, as he assisted Dreamville’s Lute on “Myself” in June.

A special blend of R&B infused with Afrobeats and pop, the EP is largely inspired by DEVN’s romantic experiences during his formative years – examine love as a novelty through the lens of a earned wisdom.

“St. Luke is the name of the street I grew up on. It’s where everything started,” DEVN says. “I learned so much growing up here. I recorded and produced my first song at a neighbor’s house, and met my first girlfriend across the street from my grandmother’s house, which gave me an idea of what ‘love’ felt like.  These experiences in life helped shape this project.”

Featured on our Weekly Dope playlist, DEVN’s St. Luke St. project is available below. Press play and vibe out.
