In a thread of several tweets, Peezus Niice stated that he had been chasing payment from Fivio and his team for months, despite providing video content for the rapper’s appearance at the “Rocking the Daisy” festival in South Africa.
In a tweet, Peezus Niice wrote,
“I’ve been quiet and chasing for months after submitting work for @FivioForeign when he came to SA for @RockingTheDaisy. They booked me to cover his weekend here. I did that, they loved the videos. Pls help me RT until they pay my rack, this I won’t let slide.”
Peezus Niice followed up with screenshots showing evidence of their communication with Fivio and his team. The screenshots suggest that Niice was in contact with Fivio’s team and was praised for his work. However, Fivio and his team have since “ghosted” the cinematographer and have not paid for his services.
A few hours later, Fivio Foreign responded to Peezus Niice’s claims, expressing surprise that they had not been paid for their work. Fivio acknowledged that there were issues with how things were being handled then but assured Peezus that things are more on point now. Fivio also stated that he was not even sure if he had used Peezus’s videos, but promised to ensure they would be paid and apologized for any inconvenience caused.
Besides Fivio can understand the struggles of not feeling compensated for his work. It was revealed that Fivio had signed a bad contract early in his career by rapper-turned-pastor Mase.
Meanwhile, Fivio’s recent collaboration tease with Kanye West has been met with excitement and anticipation.
