Finesse2Tymes found himself in legal trouble once again. On August 26, the Memphis rapper was arrested in Shelby County, Tennessee, for charges related to a warrant that had been issued back in 2018.
According to iHeart, the charges included marijuana possession with the intent to distribute, property theft valued between $10,000 and $60,000, cocaine possession with the intent to distribute, and altering or destroying a motor vehicle’s serial number.
The news of the “Back End” rapper’s arrest spread quickly, and the rapper himself took to Instagram to inform his fans about the situation. In a post, he announced his arrest and wrote, “What don’t break a n*** make a n***” [a].
This is not the first time the rapper has faced legal troubles. According to NBC News, Finesse2Tymes was previously sentenced to five years in an Arkansas prison for possession of a firearm.
In July 2023, Finesse2tymes, was issued an arrest warrant for a stolen rental car. The rapper failed to return the rental car to the Enterprise dealership it belonged to and was charged with felony theft ranging from $30,00, and $150,000.
In other news, law enforcement raided the Los Angeles mansion of Chicago rapper Polo G as part of a robbery investigation. Polo G was handcuffed during the search, and the police were reportedly searching for his brother, Trent Baby.
