“You n***** broke, energy low I don’t really care though/Out the barrel, man, free my bro Jeffro/Back to business, it’s way more dinero.” 

Gunna’s latest single, “Bread & Butter,” directly confronts the RICO charges and the snitching allegations surrounding him. In the lyrics, the “Pushin’ P” rapper asserts his loyalty, resilience, and determination, leaving a message for his detractors and emphasizing his commitment to his craft.

Throughout the album, A Gift & A Curse, the College Park, GA, rapper emphasizes he’s out to bring the team [YSL label] more money with his album, A Gift & A Curse, than ever before. Many fans continue to support his artistry and are eager to embrace his new album. 

Shortly before the album’s release, one social media user acknowledged Gunna’s talent, writing, “Gunna about to drop a new album and most people don’t care that he snitched lol he’s that good.”
