One of my favorite albums of 2022, from one of current favorite groups, is getting an upgrade.

On April 8, Hiatus Kaiyote will reimagine their Grammy-nominated third album Mood Valiant as the remix album Mood Variant. This version of the project will feature remixes from the likes of Stro Elliot, Salami Rose Joe Louis and Mndsgn for new renditions of nine Mood Valiant tracks.

Setting things in motion, HK shares both the Nick Hakim remix of “Red Room” and the Georgia Anne Muldrow remix of “Get Sun.” Listen to them below.
