The wait is finally over.

It’s been four years since JID released an album (2018’s DiCaprio 2). And although he’s blessed us with various verses and songs through his work on Spillage Village’s Spilligion album and Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III and D-Day projects, the drought has been real. Thankfully, the East Atlanta emcee has finally come through with his latest offering: The Forever Story.

Marking JID’s third major label release (and official follow-up to 2018’s The Never Story), the album comes equipped with features from Yaasin Bey, Lil Wayne, EarthGang, Ari Lennox, Lil Durk, 21 Savage (“Surround Sound”), Eryn Allen Kane, and a few others. On the production side of things we’ve got Christo (“Dance Now”), Kaytranada, Monte Booker, Cardiak, DJ Khalil, Benji, BadBadNotGood, James Blake, Thundercat, and more.
