Karen Civil wrote on Twitter saying, “Dave Chapelle gave us an early preview of his new documentary filmed during covid. Special onstage guests: Jazzy Jeff, Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg, & Lizzo.”

This documentary may not do well however if Dave’s name is not clear from the negative press regarding his recent Netflix special. Dave’s Chapelle’s new special made some comments offending the LGBTQIA community yet again. During the new special, he said, “Gender is a fact. Every human being in this room, every human being on earth, had to pass through the legs of a woman that’s a fact.” He also made a few explicit jokes about the bodies of trans women.

In response to his comments, Jaclyn P Moore from the show Dear White People on Netflix has announced she will be boycotting Netflix. In an interview with Variety, she says, “I never loved Dave’s  trans material before but this time it felt different.”

We recently reported on Dave Chapelle dropping the trailer to his new Netflix Special “The Closer”.

Where there are endings there are also new beginnings — Dave Chapelle just released a trailer for a new comedy special coming to Netflix, “The Closer.”  The controversial comedian takes shots at Jan 6th Trump insurrectionist among other edgy topics and airs on October 5th.
