Good Burger 2 is the follow-up to the hit Nickelodeon film Good Burger, released in 1997 and quickly became a fan-favorite. The original cast will return, including Nickelodeon’s All That cast members Josh Server as Fizz and Lori Beth Denberg as Connie Muldon, alongside Kenan and Kel.
The sequel also features the return of Shar Jackson as Monique and Carmen Electra as Roxanne. In addition to the familiar faces, the film welcomes a new cast, including comedian Lil Rel Howery, Jillian Bell, Kamaia Fairburn, and Alex R. Hibbert, among others.
Good Burger 2 is produced by Kenan and Kel themselves and is written by Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert. The film is set to premiere on Paramount +, a popular streaming platform, in November 2023.
Fans of the original film are buzzing with excitement for the release of the long-awaited sequel. One fan expressed enthusiasm for the reunion on social media, stating, “Kenan and Kel was my favourite by farrrrrr growing up. I’ll always have love for themm.”
While Kenan Thompson, one-half of the dynamic duo, starred in his former sitcom on NBC titled Kenan, fans are thrilled to see him back on the big screen alongside Kel Mitchell in a role that catapulted them to fame.
Sequels, remakes, and adaptations bring nostalgia and excitement to fans. Like Good Burger, a fan favorite, the recently unveiled trailer for The Color Purple is receiving its adaptation, starring Halle Bailey and Fantasia.
