Latto Releases “Big Energy” Single

Having formally shifted into her new moniker, Latto sets off her Fall with her new single “Big Energy.”

Aiming for a more pop sound (as opposed to her bass-heavy, Southern rap-inflected tunes), the single samples the Tom Tom Club’s “Genius of Love” (I don’t need to link to that song for people to know what that is at this point). The track serves as the first offering from Latto’s forthcoming album, the follow-up to her 2020 major label debut Queen of Da Souf.
