Lil Wayne Announces “Welcome To Tha Carter” Tour

Lil Wayne is hitting the road on his “Welcome To Tha Carter” Tour starting in April. He announced his North American tour with a stop in Toronto on Instagram. The tour ends in mid-May in Los Angeles.

Months after his Weezyana concert, The “Go DJ” rapper announced the “Welcome To Tha Carter” Tour, named after his famous Tha Carter album series on Instagram on Jan. 31. Lil Wayne also reached Diamond status with his 2008 hit single “Lollipop” off the Tha Carter 3 album.

The tour will start in April in Minneapolis and end in mid-May in Los Angeles.

Additionally, the “Welcome To Tha Carter” Tour stops include New York, Atlanta, Nashville, and more.

Not only will there be a tour, but there will also be upcoming new music. The rap legend also announced on Aug. 6, 2022, that he is working on his upcoming album, Tha Carter 6, which will continue one of the most iconic album series in hip-hop history.
