After being name-checked on “Wacced Out Murals,” a track on the surprise Kendrick Lamar album, GNX, Lil Wayne has seemingly offered a response.

Jumping onto X on Friday afternoon, Weezy made it clear he wasn’t feeling the K. Dot comment. “Man WTF I do?!” he wrote on X, adding, “Let’s not take kindness for weakness. Let this giant sleep. I beg you all. No one really wants destruction, not even me, but I shall destroy if disturbed. On me. Love.”

On “Wacced Out Murals,” Lamar referenced the moment Wayne complained about not being chosen to headline next year’s Super Bowl halftime show, which is taking place in his hometown of New Orleans. Kendrick is headlining. In a social media video he posted to social media, Weezy said the snub, “hurt a whole lot.” Apparently, Kendrick wasn’t feeling Weezy’s comment.

On “Wacced Out Murals,” Lamar addressed Wayne’s complaint: “Used to bump ‘Tha Carter III,’ I held my Rollie chain proud / Irony, I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down.”

The 2025 Super Bowl will take place on February 9 at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome. Prior to headlining his own halftime show, Lamar was a part of Dr. Dre’s 2022 Super Bowl halftime performance, which went on to be the first halftime show to win the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Special (Live).
