The Atlanta singer-songwriter’s third studio album overall, Mariah The Scientist has returned with To Be Eaten Alive.

“With the title, I decided that because some of them are also venomous and poisonous, if you were to eat one unknowingly, it’ll probably make you sick, or it could kill you,” she tells Apple Music. “Depending on how strong it is. You might think that because it’s a small animal that it could be easily consumed or something, but not knowing it packs a punch.”

A 10-song offering, Mariah is joined by the likes of Young Thug, Kaytranada, 21 Savage, and Vory. The project is anchored by the previous release, “From A Woman.”
