In an inspiring display of girl power, Marsai Martin, along with NCAA champions Angel Reese and Flau’jae, have embarked on a groundbreaking collaboration with Tampax. The campaign, aptly named “A Better Way to Period,” seeks to challenge misconceptions surrounding menstruation and empower women to make informed choices about their period protection. At just 19, Marsai Martin has already made her mark as an emerging entrepreneur, diversifying her career beyond acting.

Girl Power takes center stage as Marsai Martin teams up with NCAA champions Angel Reese and Flau’jae for a groundbreaking collaboration with Tampax.

Revealed in PEOPLE, tampon company, Tampax partnered up with the three influential young women for the campaign, titled “A Better Way to Period.” The partnership aims to debunk misinformation about menstruation while empowering women to make informed decisions about their period protection.

At just 19, Martin has proven herself as a rising entrepreneur. Apart from her successful acting career, she recently launched her own glasses line in collaboration with Glasses USA, titling it, “Marsai Martin x Glasses USA,” and became the brand ambassador and partner producer for Clinique. With her partnership with Tampax, Marsai reveals her purpose when she states:

“I chose to partner with Tampax because of how important just talking about period health is,” She continues, “When it comes to me being a young Black girl and having to go to set or do these vacations or just basically live my life, I knew for me, before I started talking openly about my period journey, it could make me insecure.”

Besides her business ventures, the actress and business mogul has made history with her accomplishments, becoming the youngest executive producer for her 2019 feature film Little, starring Issa Rae. As the youngest person to secure a first-look deal at Universal, Martin is proving her creative talent as a producer and actress. 

She starred alongside the iconic Kelly Rowland and Omari Hardwick in the film Fantasy Football and produced her own coming-of-age series, Saturdays, on Disney Channel

Angel Reese has also ventured into the business world with a groundbreaking NIL partnership with Reebok. As the first basketball star to collaborate with Reebok, the legendary Shaquille O’Neal, chose Reese for the deal. 

Similarly, rapper Flau’jae has recently been featured in a campaign with PUMA, bringing her unique style and talent alongside the legendary Slick Rick. Flau’jae was also featured in a collaboration with Amazon alongside Angel Reese, where they were in a commercial titled “Dormz.” 

The two collegiate stars were featured in their dorm rooms and advertising Amazon products. 

In a similar vein, Megan Thee Stallion has been spreading empowerment and joy through her partnership with the Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium. The collaboration, including the “Black Girl Joy Challenge,” highlights the philanthropic efforts of young Black women.
