Whether he is Davis MacLean in Power Book II: Ghost, Torg in Disney’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, or in your crush’s head as their golden god, Method Man‘s thespian catalog has been as expansive as his musical one. He’s now primed to hop into the podcast game… but for non-toxic, actually production reasons.

Meth is slated to co-star in the upcoming scripted comedy audio series from Audible and Broadway Video, Yes We Cannabis, alongside Sam Richardson, Tichina Arnold, Langston Kerman, and Punkie Johnson. The synopsis reads:

Pharmacist George (Richardson), feeling unfulfilled with his job in Florida, quits and moves to California with a dream: start a legal cannabis company. With friends Brandy (Johnson) and Marcus (Kerman). They are ready to aim high and stay high, but starting a business isn’t as easy as it looks—especially when you’re trying to run it with your dysfunctional friends. 

Yes We Cannabis follows the trio throughout the (literal) highs and lows of their journey, encountering shady businessmen and the petty drama that comes with working with your friends, all the while juggling family issues, dating, and being Black in America.

The podcast will debut on Audible August 24
