Mindless Behavior, a popular boy band that rose to prominence in the early 2010s, officially disbanded years ago during the members’ teenage years. Despite the original group’s short lifespan, its cultural impact has endured, particularly among fans who grew up learning the group’s choreography and following its rise. While the group no longer exists in its original form at the moment, its influence continues to resurface through new fan-centered experiences.
Two of the group’s four original members, Prodigy and Ray Ray, have recently reconnected with fans by hosting a series of “Mrs. Right” master (dance) classes across the country. The classes focus on teaching the choreography from the group’s breakout hit, “Mrs. Right,” featuring Diggy Simmons. The routine remains widely recognized among longtime fans, many of whom learned the moves during the group’s peak years. The classes offer fans an opportunity to revisit that era while learning the choreography directly from the artists who helped bring it alive.
This evening, Jan. 9, Prodigy and Ray Ray are currently hosting a class in Philadelphia in collaboration with I Am Presh. The excitement of the event obviously drew strong attendance and enthusiastic participation — because it sold out, highlighting the group’s lasting appeal more than a decade after its debut. Additional classes are scheduled in cities including New York, Bloomfield, Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston and Chicago.
The group’s other members continue on their life journeys as well. Roc Royal is currently incarcerated, with fans highly-anticipating his release and ready to support him in the coming years, as he is allegedly eligible for parole in April 2028. Princeton, meanwhile, has remained active in the creative space, pursuing modeling and continuing to release music independently.
Fans are excited and hopeful to see everyone as a unit soon, but are proud just the same to see the movement still moving. Mindless Behavior’s legacy continues to resonate with fans nationwide, and Ray Ray and Prodigy are doing a compelling job! Are you nearby to any of the classes? Buy tickets here: zapxclusive.com
