Sonja Norwood, the mother of both Brandy and Ray J, recently underwent an IV therapy treatment, joining numerous celebrities who have embraced this wellness trend. The health incident occurred on Monday, Nov. 6, when Sonja began feeling light-headed following the intravenous treatment, which is meant to deliver essential vitamins and nutrients directly to the bloodstream. 

However, after receiving the treatment, she started experiencing rapid breathing and had to lie down. Alarmed by her condition, Ray J and the rest of the family called an ambulance to ensure her well-being. Sonja was promptly taken to the hospital for further evaluation and care.

Fortunately, after being examined at the hospital, Sonja was declared to be in stable condition. The IV therapy she received included a mixture of C and B vitamins, calcium, and magnesium, aiming to boost the immune system.

 Yet, while IV therapy is generally considered safe, there are potential side effects, such as infection, rashes, blood clots, and air embolism. As of now, there is no official statement from the Norwood family or their representatives regarding Sonja’s current condition.
