Recently, Fenty mogul and Bajan songstress Rihanna has been immortalized in wax by the famous Madame Tussaud’s museum.  The megastar will be featured in one of her most iconic looks from 2018’s Met Gala.

Riri will be remembered forever for her “heavenly body” ensemble from the 2018 Met Gala thanks to Madame Tussauds wax museum. The superstar’s wax figure was unveiled on Feb 8th at the museum in New York’s Time Square.

The full-bodied figure impeccably captures Rihanna’s stunning look at fashion’s biggest night when she appeared at the Metropolitan Museum of Art alongside fashion icon and co-chair Anna Wintour.

The replica intricately details the ensemble, including a beaded corset minidress and matching robe by Margiela. The couture look was topped off with a papal bishop’s hat and crucifix necklace – a nod to the night’s religious theme.

Madame Tussaud’s has received fan backlash in the past for poor depictions of rapper Nicki Minaj in 2020 and Beyoncé in 2017.

\Late in 2022, a wax figure of late rap legend Nipsey Hussle was unveiled by a black wax artist,  Mr. Officials. The figure is available to view in person in Cleveland, Ohio, at the SouthPark Mall.
