T.I. and Tiny have won their legal battle against a former friend, Sabrina Peterson, who accused the couple of sexual and physical assault. 

On Monday, October 16, the hip-hop couple responded to former friend Sabrina Peterson’s 2021 defamation lawsuit, asserting that their statements were truthful and “had no malice” intent when they labeled their accuser, Peterson, as a liar. 

T.I. and Tiny, formerly close friends with Sabrina Peterson, experienced a falling out, which included Peterson alleging that T.I. had pointed a firearm at her and threatened her life. The dispute began after an argument with T.I.’s assistant, during which the rapper allegedly stated: 

“B—- I’ll kill you.” 

Peterson’s claims led to an even bigger controversy when she asserted to have “over 100 women” willing to come forward with allegations against T.I. 

Since 2021, T.I. and Tiny Harris have been entangled in a legal battle with Peterson, who initially accused the rapper of various physical and sexual assaults. However, the recent ruling in favor of the couple marks a significant legal victory. 

The judge’s decision to dismiss multiple claims in Peterson’s lawsuit is a blow to her credibility and supports the couple’s defense against the allegations.

According to Rolling Stone, T.I. and Tiny requested a total of $164,650.56 in legal fees from Peterson, while the judge’s ruling only awarded them $96,703. Rolling Stone’s senior reporter, Nancy Dillon took to Twitter stating that “5 to 7 claims” in Peterson’s original case became dismissed, resulting in her only having to pay $96,703. 

In April 2021, T.I. and Tiny responded to the three new sexual allegations that were spewed on them. The hip-hop couple claimed that the latest accusations aren’t true, where 20 women have come forward regarding them both.
