Nothing gets hotter than July and as we head into the dog days of summer, artists are rolling out the big guns. Mid-July releases are varied in sound and style, but your summer soundtrack should have no shortage of bangers, judging from what’s coming this week.
Obviously, virtually every hip-hop fan is eager to bump Let God Sort Em Out, the new album from Clipse; but Pusha T and No Malice aren’t alone with heaters dropping this week. The new Burna Boy album is also out, as well as some seriously dope singles in “Feeeeeeeeel” from Cash Cobain and “Is It” by Tyla.
Macy Gray makes her return with a cover of an Alicia Keys favorite, and Paul Wall and DJ Fresh keep the momentum rolling in the buildup for their collaborative album that drops later this month.
Each week, Okayplayer will deliver a roundup of all the latest new heat from some of our favorite artists. Check out the latest offerings below.
