Lauryn Hill will be joined by The Fugees, who will reunite on all US and Canadian dates for their first tour in years. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour will feature 17 shows in arenas worldwide.

The hip-hop icon’s groundbreaking album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, continues to influence artists and inspire audiences even 25 years since its release. The album, which has achieved diamond certification, was entered into the Library of Congress in 2015, recognizing its cultural significance.

It also became the first hip-hop album to win the “Album of the Year” Grammy Award and secured Lauryn Hill’s place as a trailblazing artist. Lauryn Hill made history by being the first woman to be nominated for 10 Grammy awards in a single year and winning 5 of them in one night.

According to a press release obtained by SOHH, reflecting on the album’s impact and lasting legacy, the Grammy Award winner expressed her thoughts, stating:

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is and was a love song to my parents, my family, my people, my musical and cultural forebears, my teachers, my loves, my Creator. I wrote love songs and protest songs— (still love songs) about the subjects and interests that inspired and moved me. I was confident that what inspired me would resonate with an audience that had been led to believe that songs of that kind could only live in the past. I loved music, I loved people, I truly felt grateful to God for my life, and genuinely blessed to have a platform where I could share wisdom and perspective through music.”

Tickets for The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour will go on sale this Friday, August 25. Citi card members will have access to presale tickets starting Wednesday, August 22, through the Citi Entertainment program.

In a nostalgic reunion, Lauryn Hill reunited with The Fugees for the first time since 2021 at the 2023 Roots Picnic in June. The highly anticipated performance by Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Pras Michel delighted fans during Lauryn Hill’s solo headlining set at Philadelphia’s The Mann Center.

As the touring season picks up, Travis Scott has also announced his Circus Maximus Tour, featuring performances of his latest album, UTOPIA. The tour will kick off in Chicago on September 25 and conclude in Nashville on November 11, with additional dates planned in Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Inglewood, California.
