However, the love between Tina and Richard has run its course, as Tina officially submitted her plea to the court for divorce on July 26. Interestingly, the date of separation was listed just one day prior, on July 25.

According to court documents, Tina cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce, and it appears that she is not seeking spousal support from Richard, nor is she willing to have the court award it to him. This decision indicates that the two are parting ways amicably and aiming to move on without any financial entanglements.

When Tina married Richard, she took on his last name, becoming Celestine Lawson. As part of the divorce proceedings, she wishes to revert to her previous name, Celestine Knowles. This change represents her desire to reclaim her identity after the end of this chapter in her life.
