Last night (October 4), BET aired the 2022 installment of their Hip Hop Awards. Amidst the usual gamut of awards (Best DJ went to DJ Drama, Best Newcomer went to GloRilla… I can’t remember who else won something though… or if they even aired), there were a few cyphers, an on-stage URL battle (which had some high points), Trina receiving her flowers, a tribute to Loud Records with many of the label’s alumni, a Clipse sighting, and more.
