Ye seems to really hate Kendrick Lamar. Going out of his way to diss an old K-Dot performance is the latest blow.

Ye Disses Kendrick Lamar’s 2023 Paris Fashion Week Performance

After calling out Kendrick Lamar by name and even challenging the battle-tested Compton MC to put out a diss track in a series of tweets against him over the last month, Ye is doubling down on his seemingly unwarranted hate for K-Dot. Last Saturday (March 22), Ye took some time away from his around-the-clock rants on X to hit up the comment section of an Instagram post featuring some resurfaced footage of Kendrick Lamar’s performance at a Louis Vuitton event during Paris Fashion Week in 2023. The seemingly unhinged rapper-producer didn’t mince words when offering his opinion on the show.

“I hated this so much,” Ye typed in reference to the Kendrick video below.

The reactions from fans were swift in the comments. Some people just put lots of laughing emojis while others sided with K-Dot or felt disappointed that Ye, an artist they once loved, was becoming such a hater.

“So much Hate in your heart now Kanye. Do like Cart said and S. T. F. U.,” one person fired back at Ye.

“You sounding like the biggest fkn hater in the world, U stirring controversy as promotion worked in the past and now it’s just old and so wack,” another added.

“It’s so complicated with you because so many of us loved/love you but it’s like we are watching a sad child and you say and do some outlandish things but I think you just need some love …..like someone to pick up the sad child,” a once supportive fan wrote.

Why Does Ye Hate Kendrick Lamar?

Many speculate Ye’s blatant disdain for anything Kung Fu Kenny does may be rooted in jealousy because of Kendrick’s current reign at the top of the rap game. However, if you let Ye tell it, he simply can’t stand Kendrick Lamar’s music. He also thinks Dot is not at all worthy of the moniker King Kendrick.

“I DONT LIKE KENDRICK LAMARS MUSIC.” Ye tweeted earlier this month. “HE RAPS VERY GOOD BUT I DIDNT NEED TO HEAR HIM ON CARTI ALBUM.”

He later made it known via X that he “HAAAAAATED” Kendrick’s chart-topping Drake diss track “Not Like Us.” He also boldly declared that the man who currently has spent five straight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with “Luther” featuring SZA is merely a regional act.

“KENDRICK WAS NEVER KING,” Ye typed amid another X rant. “MAYBE THE KING OF THE WEST COAST, BUT NEVER KING OF THE WORLD.”
