Nigerian artists are the shining definition of “perserverence.”

Case in point: Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer CKay. Releasing his debut EP, CKay The First, back in 2019, his single “love nwantiti (ah ah ah)” would become one of the biggest songs in 2021. He’s now shared a visual for his latest burgeoning hit, “Emiliana.”

Shot in Senegal and directed by Ahmed Mosh, the visual portrays a love story between CKay and his “Emiliana.” “It was my first time in Dakar and I had a great time shooting there,” says CKay. “The vibes were real and the energy was high. I think Africa is beautiful and I wanted to show people a piece of that.”
