Meet Dee Boi – one of Orlando’s most consistent and talented artists. Born on March 16, 1987, in Orlando, Florida, Dee Boi’s life took a tragic turn when he lost his father at the young age of 10. However, he found solace in writing poetry to express his feelings and thoughts.

At the age of 14, Dee Boi started rapping but did not take it seriously until he turned 17. It was then that he was invited to a local studio by the late AK and started getting a lot of attention for his songs. Later, he met Hollywood Kp, CEO and producer of Grind Hard Records, and recorded the song “Grind Hard,” which caught Kp’s attention. Dee Boi was asked to be Grind Hard Record’s first artist and he agreed. The name “Grind Hard” was perfect, reflecting Dee Boi’s dedication to his craft.

Inspired by Tupac, T.I., Trick Daddy, 8ball and MJG, UGK, and Juvenile, Dee Boi’s lyrics represent true “dope boy” music. He is now the Vice President of Grind Hard Records and is ready to shake up the underground scene in Florida. Dee Boi’s first official album, “Flood Tha Block,” dropped in 2006 and showcased his raw talent and unique style.
